Secret Labs Omega Review

I know the Secret Lab Omega is not a mattress, but bear with me. When it comes to mattresses, many people are willing to pay a little more for a quality one. This is because they know that they spend a significant portion of their 24-hour day on their mattresses. Gamers have a similar mindset when it comes to installing chairs in their PC setups, as evidenced by the recent influx of gaming chair manufacturers.

While the budget for a rig may not be as much as for a graphics card, the best chairs for gaming last longer than the components and can last a decade or more Since DXRacer first entered the scene, gaming chairs have evolved over the years; Secretlab is the first in this Secretlab is not the first manufacturer in the field, nor will it be the last. However, the Secretlab Omega is one of the best we have experienced in gaming chairs.

Secretlab's secret to success is to keep third parties out. Instead of dealing with retailers and distributors, the company sells directly to customers. This allows the company to pass on the savings and offer premium products at very reasonable prices. It also reduces the likelihood of product damage because at least one delivery is eliminated.

This business model seems to be working quite well, and the Omega looks and feels comparable to the more expensive gaming chairs we tested. Secret Labs' Omega features highly customizable armrests, a multifunction tilt mechanism, and the densest foam of any gaming chair. According to the company, each piece of foam undergoes a rigorous cold curing process and is individually molded rather than cut.

The result is a very tough, sturdy foam that is built to last. I have now spent several months in the Secret Lab Omega, and the seat cushions feel just like they did when they were new. The one drawback is that the softness of the seat has been sacrificed to support years of abuse.

We initially thought the chairs were really firm, but they became more comfortable after extended gaming sessions. The Omega also comes with the best head pillow and lumbar pillow we've seen offered free of charge from a gaming chair manufacturer. Made of velour memory foam, they are comfortable enough to sleep on. The only complaint is that it is not very secure to the chair, leaving little room for adjustment.

Vertagear's SL5000 was previously our favorite gaming chair. The unobtrusive logo, premium build, and craftsmanship were points we really took notice of, and a closer look at Secretlab's product line shows that other manufacturers are taking notice as well. The Omega is one of the most well-made chairs we have tested. From the casters to the base, lift mechanism, armrests, and seatback, Secretlab clearly uses the best materials.

The Omega has a multi-function tilt mechanism that allows you to rock and adjust your sitting position to promote blood flow and oxygenation to the brain. It can recline up to 165 degrees and the armrests can be adjusted at any angle. The result is a very comfortable gaming chair.

The Omega is available in a variety of accent colors and is currently priced at $359. It is not the cheapest of the gaming chairs, but its quality is comparable to chairs that cost $400 or more. If you want to treat your butt with a chair that looks and functions great, the Secretlab Omega is worth every penny.
