"Exit the Gungeon," released last year exclusively on Apple Arcade, is a spin-off of the popular "Enter the Gungeon" game. Basically, instead of going down and down through a dangerous dungeon, the spinoff film has you climbing up and up to escape (usually via a rapidly ascending elevator). The biggest difference is that the spin-offs are depicted from a sideways perspective, rather than the top-down perspective of the original films.

Studio Dodge Roll Games has announced that the spinoff will be released "early this year on PC and consoles. The exact date will probably depend on Apple's exclusivity, but if it is six months, it is expected to be released in mid-March.

Exit the Gungeon was co-developed by Dodge Roll Games and Singlecore Games (Dungeon Warfare). Like its predecessor, it is rogue-lite, but is expected to move along at a shorter, more brisk pace. Check out the trailer below for a good idea of what to expect.
