Solve the mystery of a robot murder in the free detective game Lockheart Indigo

A murder has occurred in an old mansion. Beatrice, a private investigator, has come to investigate, but the process is more complicated than expected.

Lockheart Indigo feels like a JRPG without the combat. Instead of turn-based combat, you encounter combat-like interrogations, throwing facts at potential suspects and using special abilities. The character art for the suspects is expressive and full of personality, but it is a little disappointing that much of the environmental art is in black and white.

That issue aside, I like the look. It has a strong pixel art aesthetic, somewhere between Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance, and is set in a fascinating sci-fi world where humanoid robots play a big role. While the script is a step away (it's currently in free alpha, so it's not too late), the novel blend of detective adventure and JRPG should be enough to immerse you in this sci-fi mystery.
