What if Bejeweled were a platform game? What if "Dig Dug" was more like "Columns"? The answer to both of these questions is a match-3 game called Blocked Up.

So, like "Dig Dug," you must constantly move down, but instead of moving blocks out of the way, you match colored blocks: use the mouse to select and swap blocks while moving the man with WASD or the arrow keys.

There are score increases, exploding blocks, and high scores to keep you occupied. Interestingly, the blocks can only be swapped horizontally, which adds another layer of thought to the (increasingly frantic) task of clearing a path for the dwarf.

This is a well realized and fresh spin on the Match 3 concept. Enough is given to deal with, but not too much.
