Platinum Games will announce its next big project on April 1, and it doesn't look like an April Fool's Day ploy. This is the fourth installment of "Platinum 4," and it will cap off a series of announcements that have included a remaster of the 2003 Wii U game "The Wonderful 101" for PC, a new giant hero game called "Project GG," and the opening of a new studio in Tokyo. A cryptic tweet from the studio tells fans to "look more to the stars of 04.01."

The studio gave no clue as to what the announcement would be, other than that it would be a big one. Studio head Atsushi Inaba told Gematsu in February that they would reveal something "very platinum and interesting," and designer Hideki Kamiya later promised something "dodecai."

The announcement could be related to any of Platinum's existing games. Or it could be an entirely new project. For now, we will have to wait and see.
