Epic's preview of Fortnite's Deadpool event dates back to the beginning of Season 2. At the time, after a terribly long introduction to Chapter 2, we were simply excited to see a completely unique theme in the new season. And suddenly, our Fortnite had an open-mouthed mercenary in a red suit, two classic tastes that go hand in hand, and after seven weeks of the Deadpool Challenge, we finally got to buy some proper cosmetics, and in true Deadpool style, he was the Fortnite item! hit the stores.

This is what happens when you activate the Fortnite Item Shop for the first time.

As you can see in the video above, Deadpool is not afraid to barge into the cosmetic store. Thankfully, he has some pretty decent items to buy with his precious V-bucks.

First, as a matter of course, new Deadpool skins are not available in the store. To unlock that bad boy, you have to complete all the Deadpool challenges.

My favorite of the new set is Deadpool's Scootin' traversal emote (worth 500 V-Bucks). Enjoy this picture of my old Kung Fu Master skin riding his little scooter.

Next up is Deadpool's Chimichanga emote, which allows your character to throw Deadpool's favorite snack into the microwave. Leave it in there long enough and it will start to smoke more than Blind Al. 300 V-Bucks required.

800 V-Bucks will get you Meaty Mallets, which are Deadpool-branded meat tenders and Looney Toons-style hammers that function as harvesting tools.

1,500 V-Bucks will get you a Dragacorn, which is basically a Fortnite llama in the shape of a Chinese dragon, but wearing a Deadpool mask and saddle.

You can get the entire bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks (a 900 V-Buck value), and from the looks of it, the timer on these items will run out pretty quickly. Whether they will be replaced by additional Deadpool items or discontinued altogether remains to be seen, but it's a bit of a shame.
