Floo Network, Minecraft's team of modders, has spent the past four-plus years creating an elaborate Harry Potter RPG in the sandbox. A little over a month after the alpha version was released, the game is finally going live. Watch the launch trailer above.

As soon as the bricks magically crack and the street (I forget the name, as the last time I read Harry Potter was in a completely different millennium) appears, you know we're dealing with something a bit special.

The map itself is very impressive, with every detail of the numerous locations that appear in the books and movies. Not only will you have to explore Hogwarts, but your magical know-how will be put to the test and you will have to fight nasty dementors and various monsters.
