Vikendi Returns to PUBG with Sightseeing Traps and Trains

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Season 7 has been released and Vikendi is back on the map's roster. It was out of rotation in Season 6, during which time PUBG Corp has put a lot of love and attention into this map. Now that it's back, you can see what has changed. Quite a bit.

PUBG Corp revealed how it would change a while ago, turning the small Dino Park into a more elaborate Dinoland and introducing an extensive train system and nine different trains. However, adjustments have been made since then based on feedback from testers.

For example, there is not as much snow, but a little more than originally planned. Players felt that the developers had removed too much snow and added more snow to the map. In the southern part of the island there is much less snow, but in the north there is still quite a bit left. Snow bikes and snowmobiles have also been removed, but have been replaced by motorcycles.

Some settlements have disappeared, but others have been expanded, and now you can hang out at the new cargo depot, since everyone loves a gunfight while surrounded by cargo containers.

The most exciting new additions are definitely the new dinolands and trains. Unfortunately, there are no dinosaurs on the train, but you can move around the island in style and visit a sprawling theme park that has been abandoned. Dino Park was already great, but now that it's Dinoland, it's bigger and more like a real theme park. There are Ferris wheels, more elaborate roller coasters, and shopping areas with plenty of buildings to hide inside.

The reworked Vikendi is available in both sunny and snowy weather, but the moonlit version will return at a later date after PUBG Corp improves the visuals.

To show their love for the new park, survivors can dress up in new costumes, including a Dinoland employee outfit and a more attractive Dino mascot. Some rewards are hidden behind the Premium Survivor Pass, but you can also get goodies without spending any money. Everyone can participate in community missions and unlock videos. In total, there are four types of missions: community, season, progression, and challenge, each with various tracks and rewards for free and paid survivors.
