Deadmau5, Steve Aoki and Dillon Francis headline Fortnite Party Royale premiere.

Fortnite's non-combat mode, Party Royale, debuted last week, giving players the opportunity to indulge in new social hub activities such as skydiving and jumping over boat ramps. Today, developer Epic Games finally confirmed details of the official Party Royale premiere party: the kickoff event will feature a number of famous musicians, free cosmetics for attendees, and the usual hangout activities.

Here's what we know about the Fortnight Party Royale premiere event.

The Fortnite Party Royale premiere event will begin on Friday, May 8 at 9 p.m. ET.

If you can't make it to the party, Epic will broadcast a repeat on May 9 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET.

The complete show will take place on the main stage on Party Royale Island.

Epic adds that even if the show is already underway, you can still jump in, so don't worry if you are a few minutes late.

The PartyRoyale premiere event will feature not one, not two, but three major musical acts.

Deadmau5: Perhaps the largest and most well-known of the three groups is a Canadian DJ who tends to wear a giant rat helmet/mask during his performances. Known for popular singles such as "Ghosts n' Stuff" and "Strobe" featuring Rob Swire of Pendulum.

Steve Aoki: American DJ, record producer, and entertainer known for his collaborations with artists such as Afrojack, Will.i.am, and Linkin Park.

Dillon Francis: Even if you are not a fan of electronic music, you may have heard his single "Get Low" in commercials.

According to Epic, anyone who logs into Fortnite between 6 p.m. ET on May 8 and 10 a.m. ET on May 11 will receive Neon Wings, back bling items that respond to music. Presumably Epic wants everyone to wear these during the concert portion of the event.

As always, the Fortnight Party Royale premiere event will also feature an island activity. There will be skydiving to see who can drop the fastest and most accurately, boat races, and messing around with the new Paint Launcher item, and since Epic seems very keen to make this new battle-free island a social hub where people can hang out, new things will be added from time to time. additions are likely to be added.
