"Season of Arrival" has arrived in Destiny 2. A mysterious pyramid ship that has been gliding through humanity's solar system looms over Io and confronts the Guardians with new activities, rewards, gear, and questions.

Starting today at 5pm PT/8pm ET, the new season pass-free "Prophecy" dungeon opens to all players, with new DAITO Foundry armor and a "reprint" Trials of the Nine armor set waiting to be earned.

A new Season of Arrival gameplay video shows some of the action that will appear in the Prophecy:

Guardians will also face new public events in the ship's basement, where enemies of humanity are summoned by strange forces. In the Season of Arrival, a new engram "focusing" system will allow players to "fine-tune" their reward drops. Season Pass holders will also instantly unlock a new exotic grenade launcher, the Wither Horde, and a seasonal armor set.
