Blood splatter and body snatchers return in sequel "Serial Cleaners"

The stealth game Serial Cleaner had a rather unique premise back in 2017: you work for the Mafia and your job is to clean up crime scenes so no one gets caught. It was certainly a stealth action game like many others, but it really sold itself by brilliantly capitalizing on the 1970s American setting and the tropes of the dirty crime genre.

At the Future Games Show, developer Draw Distance announced that it was making a sequel: Serial Cleaners. Its title is Serial Cleaners. The sequel takes place in the 90's, where cleaners with different skills and abilities take on non-linear storylines in an isometric 3D environment. Some cleaners use technology, some use brute force, some use street smarts, and the last cleaner uses "old-fashioned tricks of the trade."

Draw Distance is a fresh outgrowth of Vampire: The Masquerade - A New York Story. The idea of a non-linear scenario in Serial Cleaners might convince me that this game alone is a good idea.

Serial Cleaners is being developed by Draw Distance and will be released in 2021; Serial Cleaners is available on Steam for now, but will probably be available on GOG and elsewhere before release. Speaking of which, the original Serial Cleaner is $3 off $80 on GOG right now.
