Bungie removes reward caps from old "Destiny" raids to allow players to farm.

Bungie Day is not on the calendar, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. In fact, in honor of the big event, Bungie has removed the reward caps from Destiny 2's five "featured raids."

With the removal of the limits, players will have virtually unlimited opportunities to earn any reward, including raid exotics like the Anarchy, which appears in the final encounter of Scourge of the Past. Armor drops from these raids have also been updated to use Season of Arrivals infusion caps.

All of this is important because, as we explained last month, the Destiny 2 expansion Beyond Light, which will be released on September 22, will also remove old locations and raids. As a result, if you did not get the rewards you wanted from them before Beyond Light was released, you will have to wait for them to be rotated again before trying again.

Further encouraging participation in these raids are the new "moments of triumph" and the unlockable items associated with each. Completing all five soon-to-be-removed raids will also earn you exclusive raid rings and emblems. Which raids are they? These are the raids:

During this week's reset, diabolical pyramid ships spread throughout the solar system, appearing on Mars, Io, Mercury, and Titan, where the Contact public event is taking place. Since these are planets that will be removed in September, it is safe to say that things are getting sketchy for the local inhabitants.

Guardians won't have much to worry about. Most of them will be busy working on the new exotic quest line that dropped today. Completing this quest will reward you with the Ruinous Effigy, a void tracing rifle that converts defeated enemies into "relics" that can be wielded as AoE weapons. Sounds spicy. We will have a full guide up soon, but until then, please read the following patch notes:

This week's reset saw diabolical pyramid ships spread throughout the solar system, anchoring on Mars, Io, Mercury and Titan. Since these are planets that will be removed in September, it is safe to say that things are getting sketchy for the local inhabitants.

Guardians won't be too concerned. Most of them will be busy working on the new exotic quest line that dropped today. Completing this quest will reward you with the Ruinous Effigy, a void tracing rifle that converts defeated enemies into "relics" that can be wielded as AoE weapons. It's going to be hard. We'll have a complete guide up soon.
