The cooperative board game "Spirit Island" is finally coming to PC, with an official port of the complex cooperative masterpiece by R. Eric Royce coming to Steam this week. Spirit Island" is one of the best board games of the last few years and is ranked #13 overall on BoardGameGeek's Best Games list. Each player takes on the role of a powerful nature spirit, working with other players to protect the natives of their island from aggressive, militaristic invaders who seek to destroy their way of life.

Spirit Island Digital was first announced in 2018 and is only now being released. It's a complex game with multiple stages and phases, but the adaptation is all smooth. If you've been playing on a tabletop, you'll be happy to know that the game will do all the little details and invader resolution for you, as well as setting the game's difficulty level. There is no official online play yet, but it's not hard to play together via remote play.
