Capcom announced today that five new characters will be added to the fifth and final season of Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition: Dan, Rose, Oro, Akira, and a mysterious fifth fighter to be revealed at a later date.

According to Capcom, all of the new characters are still in the works, and more details about each will be revealed as the game gets closer to release.

Also on the horizon are over 30 character costumes, four new stages including one each for Rose and Akira, and two new stages for the Capcom Pro Tour, scheduled for release in winter 2020 and fall 2021. New mechanics and balance tweaks that "further enhance gameplay and add depth to the game's combat system" are also planned for later this year.
