Yesterday, courtesy of Taiwan's Digital Game Rating Board, Ubisoft's mythological action adventure "Gods and Monsters" was renamed, presumably to "Immortals Fenyx Rising". The renaming was made official today when Ubisoft announced the lineup of games that will appear at next week's Ubisoft Forward online event.
The event will feature "Watch Dogs: Legion," "Rainbow Six Siege," "Hyperscape," and "the long-awaited update on the new IP Immortals Fenyx Rising," formerly known as Gods & Monsters. Immortals Fenyx Rising's Twitter account was more explicit about it, promising the game's "full reveal."
Ubisoft Forward will take place on September 10 at 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET, with a "pre-show" by the Ubi News team and Blue Mammoth an hour before, with a presentation of "Roller Champions," "For Honor," The Division 2" and "Ghost Recon Breakpoint" will be presented, with updates from each studio.
I'm not sure why updates to some of Ubisoft's fairly major games won't qualify as actual show content, but if you're interested in any or all of them, you might want to tune in early. The worldwide schedule for the main event is as follows.
