New Operator for "Modern Warfare" and "Warzone" is an Italian Cowboy

The constant battle between "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" and "Warzone" will be brought to life tomorrow with a new operator. Morte is a former soldier with a temper and a cowboy fetish, and you can see footage of him coming to life ahead of his appearance.

Italian musician and actor Fabio Lovazzi provides Morte's voice and appearance, and the digital version of Morte looks quite gray-haired. He doesn't have time to shave when he's stealing cows or shooting people he bumps into in bars.

Lovazzi also helped develop Morte's backstory. Apparently, this gun-toting cowboy wanted to be a cop, but instead went to jail and then joined the Italian Special Forces. And now he's cosplaying as a cowboy in Modern Warfare's multiplayer purgatory.

Here's the official description:

The character Lovazzi plays, whose real name is Sergio Sulla, is from Salerno, has a love of western movies, and dreams of becoming a law enforcement officer. However, his aspirations were crushed by his harsh and bilious temperament, which led him to the juvenile justice system for "vigorously" defending the unfortunate against local bullies. After being cut off from a career in law enforcement, he volunteered to join Colonel Mosin's Special Forces and served in Iraq and Libya. The nickname symbolizes the ultimate tribute to the "dead" dream of a bounty hunter who wanted to become a sheriff.

Morte will be added to the roster with his operator bundle on September 8 at 6:30 pm PDT / 10:30 am PDT.
