"THIS IS A WIZARD BEARD" is written in capital letters on the drop down menu of the Hair and Beard Variant Mod for "Crusader Kings 3". No further persuasion is needed.

The mod adds a handful of new hairstyles, including some really nice braided hairstyles for female characters and additional facial hair options for men, but it's hard not to jump directly to the ultimate isolated beard and slap it on your character's face. I mean, look at this. Who needs pants with a beard like this?

And while the portrait is cut off at the thigh, you better believe this beard extends all the way down; check out this image on the mod page:

What about the kid? Could a child wear a wizard's beard?

Oui.

The beards are unfortunately only for portraits, and you won't see characters with beards if you switch to them while playing. It is also a bit difficult to find nice poses of wizards with beards. However, if you play around with the clothes and poses, you will find a few that work. Hair and beard variation mods can be found in the Steam workshop.
