Sea of Thieves players who like shiny, flashy sails and want to contribute to the fight against cancer have until November 6 to satisfy both interests with a lovely new set called Sails of Union.

Developed in conjunction with the Stand Up to Cancer charity, Sails of Union is available on Steam or the Microsoft Store for $6/£5. It is beautiful during the day, but at night it shines (literally) and the hidden starfield patterns come into view. (Update: Stand Up to Cancer was kind enough to explain that while it is designed to look like a constellation, it is not modeled after any particular constellation.)

75% of the proceeds from Sails of Union sales on Steam and 100% of the proceeds from the Microsoft Store will be donated to Cancer Research UK to support this program, or directly to Stand Up to Cancer if purchased from the US.

The sail is part of Stand Up to Cancer's "Game On" program, in which players raise funds by taking on challenges such as running Forza Horizon 4 in reverse or playing Ori and the Will of the Wisps with only bullets. Details and registration links are available at standuptocancer.org.
