Yes, in "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," you can pet a stocky Viking cat.

I tried to pet a dog and it surrounded me and ate my horse. It was my fault because in Assassin's Creed Valhalla it was described as a wolf. My mistake. Lucky for me, the cat was as big as the dog and not only could I pet it, but it demanded it.

I played 6 hours of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. My general thoughts on all the side quests can be found here. But the premium content is on this page.

See this poofy honker hanging out in the Viking settlement's longhouse.

Absolute delight in that giant face. Whew. Look at Ivor. Now look at the cat. Their heads are almost the same size. So now I'm sitting here wondering what would happen if the cat's head was as big as mine, and I have to admit, I'm feeling a little confused.

I've just eaten and I'm not going to ignore it meowing for more food anymore. What if he chokes me while I'm sleeping?" and "What if he gets out? I try not to think about the pile of dead toads and rabbits on the welcome mat.

So as much as I'd love to bury my face in something lovely, loving, and big, it's probably a good thing that my cat doesn't eat my face so easily. At least Valhalla will let us live out our fantasies.
