Destiny 2" Cheat Distributor Shut Down by Bungie

PerfectAim sells cheats for various online games, specializing in "ESP" hacks or aimbots that allow players to see other players through walls and terrain and remove weapon recoil and spread. They charge a monthly subscription fee per game and in return offer product support and promise that no cheats will be discovered, except in the case of Destiny 2.

Bundles that PerfectAim previously sold that included "aimbot, wallhack, teleport, and other cheats" are no longer available. According to a note on the company's website, "Bungie, Inc. ("Bungie") has alleged that this product violates the game's license agreement. Additionally, we have received a request to cease selling this product."

They explained.

It further states, "We do not comment on whether these claims are justified, but we have decided to comply with this request in any case. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers. They don't seem to be particularly concerned about the inconvenience their product is causing to people who want to play the game without having their product erased over and over again.

Their cheats remain available in various other games, but at least Destiny 2 will have slightly fewer cheaters tomorrow than today.

Bohemia Interactive talks about why it is so hard to stop cheaters in video games.
