New screenshots of Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Raphael Lacoste, senior art director for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, released a screen showing a view that appears to have been taken in photo mode. The images show the Northern Lights over a Viking settlement, Aver riding the Stone Circle at dawn or dusk, a church overlooking a tree-lined river, and other beautiful landscapes that players will be running through at high speed or parkouring through! The images were sent via Twitter. The images were sent via Twitter and are fairly compressed, but Lacoste has promised to share a 4K version at a later date.

Lacoste is currently the franchise art director for Assassin's Creed, having previously served as art director for Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Origins. His work on ancient Egypt can be seen on his ArtStation page.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be released on November 17. Here's a review of the system requirements and 15 side quests in Valhalla.
