The big sale on gaming laptops didn't end with Black Friday, as CES 2020 is fast approaching and manufacturers are trying to sell off last year's hardware before new products are announced. Right now, you can get an MSI gaming laptop at a great price.

One version of MSI's GF65 gaming laptop is on sale at Newegg for $749, $250 off the regular price. Specifications include an Intel Core i5-9300H processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card, 8GB of RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, and a 15.6" 1080p "IPS-Level" screen with 120Hz refresh rate is included.

The MSI GF65 is also quite portable thanks to its weight of only 4.1 pounds. It doesn't waste any space with its thick bezel. Battery life is unfortunately not a strong point, but it is okay; the 3-cell 51Wh battery is only good for a light 5 hours of use. In other words, you are not going to be playing games for more than 30-45 minutes on battery power.

This is an excellent package for under $1,000. Most laptops in this price range do not have 120Hz screens; the GTX 1660 Ti is a great graphics card for 1080p gaming and will achieve 120 FPS in many games.
