Quantic Dream's David Cage Teases "Many Surprises" for 2020

Quantic Dream boss David Cage kicked off 2020 with a preview of the studio's plans for the year. However, he promised fans many surprises, and judging from his tweet, it may have something to do with Detroit: Become Human.

Detroit was released on PC last year, following a console release in 2018; it's the French studio's fifth game since Nomad Soul, which I love for having David Bowie as a character, which started with Nomad Soul in 1999. Despite the fact that two of Detroit's three protagonists are fairly dull, the game is a surprisingly compelling, results-oriented cinematic adventure, perhaps my favorite since "Fahrenheit." Malindi Hetfeld is less convinced in her review of "Detroit: Become Human."

Cage mentions the game in his tweet, but a sequel or follow-up of some sort would be new territory for Quantic Dream. Until now, all of the company's games have been standalones. Until last year, however, most of them were PlayStation exclusives.

Cheers, IGN.
