Developers Croteam and 2x2 Games have released a beta patch for Unity of Command 2 that adds an independent scenario for playing the Battle of the Bulge as the Axis powers.Update 10 Test adds the scenario "Wacht am Rhein! For the first time, players can take command of the German Army in a scenario specifically designed to be played that way. fans on Steam Workshop have already hacked the scenario as the German Army, the first of UoC2's full-fledged Western Front German Army campaign. You can download the beta patch and try out the new scenario by going to "Game Properties" on Steam, clicking on the "Beta" tab, and selecting the beta branch in the drop-down box.

I'm quite excited to see "Unity of Command 2" evolve further, as I personally gave it a 91% in my review. The dynamic nature of the campaign was an exciting experience that reinvigorated my desire for wargames, even though the overall strategy management was problematic. The strategy management is very simple, but complex enough to feel like a challenge.
