The first chapter of "Galakrond's Awakening," a new Hearthstone solo adventure that concludes the Year of the Dragon: The first chapter of Galakrond's Awakening, a new solo adventure for Hearthstone, is now available. The adventure includes two campaigns, the Explorers' Alliance and the E.V.I.L. Alliance, and the first chapter of the E.V.I.L. campaign offers four free card rewards.

The adventure begins in the E.V.I.L. League of Northrend, where Lafarm is trying to complete his arch-villain project by resurrecting the proto-dragon Galakrond. Players must take control of diabolical characters, including Kriziki and Madame Rasul, and fight through three encounters, including a showdown with Lord Finley, to complete the chapter. On the League of Explorers side of Chapter 1, players will step into the boots of Bran Bronzebeard and land on the heavily fortified shores of Northrend to battle E.V.I.L. villains, including the infamous Doctor Boom. A total of seven card rewards can be unlocked throughout the League of Explorers chapters:

Both sides of the first chapter of the League of Explorers campaign and all subsequent chapters can be purchased for $7 or 700 gold. A total of 35 cards will be added to Hearthstone during the campaign, and players who complete the campaign in Heroic Mode will receive two unique card backs.
