If you haven't already raided your wallet to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year on Steam, GOG is holding its own Chinese New Year sale, slashing prices on over 1,500 games.

GOG's Lunar New Year sale doesn't involve collecting red envelopes or participating in flash sales, but you can get some pretty dogmatic recommendations based on your zodiac sign.

I was born in 1985 (but still very happy and young), in the year of the Ox. Being small, clumsy, and timid, it is obvious that a sturdy, dependable creature would be perfect for me. A match made in heaven, indeed, and GOG suggests that I might like tactical strategy games. Alas, I already have all the tactical games. Sorry, GOG, but this is a bad suggestion.

At first glance, the discount rate is the same as Steam, but there's still a lot of great stuff to be found: the 2019 Game of the Year, Disco Elysium, is 20% off, and I can't recommend it enough. The long-awaited new release of "Blade Runner" unfortunately has no discount, but it's still cheap and only available at GOG.
