General
Rumors Two "Silent Hill" games are currently in development.

Well, we'll certainly be happy if this turns out to be true. According to AestheticGamer, aka DuskGolem, who previously provided accurate leaked information about the "Resident Evil 3" remake and the "Not a Hero" DLC for "Resident Evil 7," Konami has contacted developers to pitch two new "Silent Hill" games. Konami wanted one to be a soft reboot and the other to be an episodic game in the style of Telltale or Until Dawn.

According to AestheticGamer, Konami began soliciting pitches for these games "about two years ago" and he believes they are still in development, but as he says in a follow-up tweet, "I'm not sure where these projects are now or if they will happen." The Rely On Horror website suggests that they have "heard from our own sources that a Silent Hill project is in development." So, we can only pray.

The last Silent Hill game released on PC was Homecoming in 2009; in 2014, a playable teaser for Hideo Kojima's new Silent Hills game was released on PS4, but was cancelled a year later.

Here's why Silent Hills belongs on PC.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
