Raspberry Pi 4 kit with case and active cooling now $75

The Raspberry Pi is a micro-PC that can be used for just about anything. You can turn it into a mini-retro game console, use it as an inexpensive streaming device, network attached storage, or even play semi-modern games on it, or install Steam Link to play PC games remotely. If getting started with Pi seems a bit daunting, a kit with everything you need is now available at Newegg for $75.

This kit from Vilros includes a Raspberry Pi 4 with 2GB RAM, a protective case with cooling fan and heatsink, a 5-foot HDMI cable, a 32GB microSD card with the NOOBS bootloader installed (can be used to download and install multiple OSes), a Raspberry Pi 4 with 2GB RAM, a Raspberry Pi 4 with 2GB RAM, a Raspberry Pi 4 with a cooling fan and heatsink, and a Raspberry Pi 4 with 2GB RAM. The Pi 4 includes a 2GB Pi 4 with cooling fan and heated protective case, 5-foot HDMI cable, 32GB microSD card with NOOBS boot loader installed (can be used to download and install multiple operating systems), and Quick Start Guide. For reference, a 2GB Pi 4 usually costs about $45 by itself.

The price of this kit is somewhat comparable to buying all the components individually, but it is nice to start with everything you need. The active cooling is especially nice and allows you to push the Raspberry Pi to its limits for extended periods of time without the device throttling due to heat (prolonged gaming, overclocking, etc.).
