Cyberpunk 2077 will have "approximately 75" street story side quests.

CD Projekt announced last year that all quests in Cyberpunk 2077 are "handmade," including "Street Stories," a type of side quest similar to Geralt's monster hunt in The Witcher 3. The quests vary in type and size, and by completing them, the user can earn street credits and increase his or her prestige.

In a new interview with OnMSFT, John Mamais, head of CD Projekt's Krakow studio, said there are about 75 such Street Stories and explained a bit more about how they work in the context of the overall game.

"There are several layers. There is the passive layer, which is the vendor, and then there is STS, which is the Street Stories. I think there are about 75 street stories. Then there are the minor activities. 'Street Stories are like little quests. There is a story, but it's not advanced storytelling like a movie. It's a way to explore the world and level up your characters.

"Everything is custom made. Nothing is auto-generated. There's a set template that everyone can use, but each one is customized to feel unique. The world will be full of those things. It should feel really good."

Mamais also said that CD Projekt is planning post-launch content for Cyberpunk 2077, "probably something like The Witcher," but declined to go into further detail: "That will be talked about in a year or something. I wish I could say more."

CD Projekt said in January that the multiplayer component of Cyberpunk 2077 probably won't be ready until after 2021. Cyberpunk 2077 itself is currently scheduled to launch on September 17.
