AMD refreshes "Raise the Game" bundle, but shows no love for 5600 XT

There is a new "Raise the Game" campaign from AMD, where buyers of qualifying Radeon RX 5000 series graphics cards can get one or two free games and three months of Xbox Game Pass for PC for free. Oddly, however, the 5600 XT is not included in this campaign.

The details are the same as those leaked by the retailer a few days ago. At the time, I commented that this slide could and even likely predated the recently released 5600 XT. Well, I was surprised and wrong.

So what is included: ...... :

Monster Hunter World: Monster Hunter World: Iceborn Master Edition (full game + expansion) and Resident Evil 3 are the centerpiece of this promotion. Those who purchase a qualifying 5700 XT or regular 5700 will receive both games plus three months of Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Purchasers of the 5500 XT card will get "Resident Evil 3," "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint" (with in-game items), "Warcraft 3: Reforged" and Xbox Game Pass for PC.

On the other hand, buyers of the 5500 Desktop Card or Mobile 5500M GPU-integrated laptop can claim Resident Evil 3 and Ghost Recon Breakdown, but are not eligible for the Xbox Game Pass for PC benefit.

Finally, the Radeon VII, Vega series, 590, 580, 570, and 560 all qualify for three months of Xbox Game Pass for PC but do not come with free games.

As for why the 5600 XT is not included, that's a good question and one I asked AMD. Will update this post when I get a response.

The free games promotion will run until April 25, 2020 or until AMD runs out of coupon codes. Eligible purchasers have until May 25, 2020 to redeem the game code.
