"A Space for the Unbound" is a slice-of-life pixel-art adventure about two high school friends in rural 90s Indonesia, but with a supernatural twist. Currently in development at Mojiken Studio and published by Toge Productions, A Space for the Unbound will tug at your heartstrings, tackling themes of anxiety, depression, and childhood friendship.

After playing the demo myself, it tugged at my heartstrings.

The free demo is available for download from Steam and is quite substantial, taking about 20-30 minutes to play, and introduces the main character, plot, and game mechanics.

In the prologue, you play as Atma, a high school student. Atma is helping her young friend finish a story she is writing, but she needs a magic wand to come up with the perfect ending. She doesn't want her father to know she's skipping school, so Atma volunteers to go to her house to get the magic wand. Chris Antoni, founder of Toge Productions, tweeted that "The Unleashed Place" was inspired by Makoto Shinkai's animated film, but with an Indonesian twist.

"Unleashed Space" unfolds like a point-and-click adventure game. Follow the cute and friendly cat's guide to her home, where you can explore an Indonesian town painted in vibrant pixel art.

Sneaking into a friend's house requires a simple riddle to solve: explore the character's mind and see what's inside. The prologue ends with a surprising cliffhanger, hinting that the quiet country life of Atma and her friends may not be so quiet after all.
