Leaked E3 2020 Exhibitor List Reveals Who Will Attend

As we enter the second month of 2020, this year's E3 doesn't look too far away, and while the E3 2020 website is set to launch tomorrow, a curious ResetEra member has found a link to the site with all the details, including FAQs and a list of participating companies.

Many publishers have already revealed some of their E3 plans, while others, like Sony and Nintendo, will not be attending again; the E3 list is not complete and will be updated in the future, so just because it was omitted does not mean it will not show up later.

Below are the publishers that have been confirmed to exhibit at E3 2020.

Microsoft is one of the biggest names omitted from the list, but Phil Spencer confirmed in January that they would be exhibiting, saying that 2020 would be a "milestone year" for Team Xbox.

It will be interesting to see how this compares to last year's E3, which was a smaller and more low-key event than usual. More developers and publishers are opting to make major announcements directly to fans rather than holding back announcements for E3 in June. Also, the constant barrage of details about the game to prospective players has begun to feel more and more irrelevant. Leaks, endless trailers, betas, and early access have all diluted it.

Attendees of this year's event may also be a bit concerned about security: in August, it came to light that ESA, the organizer of E3, leaked the personal information of 2,000 industry professionals, including home phone numbers and addresses.

The leak of the official site does not rise to the same level - all the information will be made public tomorrow - but it also suggests that ESA is still not very good at keeping details secret. To find a link to the WebOps platform that hosts the site, just check the E3 logo.

Check back tomorrow to see if more publishers will be on the list.

E3 2020 will be held June 9-11 in Los Angeles.
