In Fallout 76 Wastelanders, you can hire (and maybe even seduce) a bartender for your camp.

A few weeks ago, Bethesda gave us an overview of the reputation system that will be introduced to Fallout 76 in the "Wastelanders" expansion, which will be available on Steam this April. This week, information was released about "Allies," a sort of limited edition version of the NPC companions that have appeared in previous Fallout games.

From what we've heard, the Allies will play several different roles: once they are recruited, they will hang around the base and offer small missions like daily challenges. Additionally, you may be able to romance some of them.

"Some ali, like Beckett, can only be met by completing their own introductory quests." This first task begins a quest line that takes you deeper into the character's story by supporting their efforts. Once you complete the story quests for the named allies, daily quests will begin, which will periodically provide you with additional XP and loot.

Winning Allie's heart unlocks objects that can be used in the base associated with that character. For example, if you bring Beckett on board, you can create a "Beckett's Bar" in the camp, where he will serve drinks and help defend the camp when it is under attack.

"The better you get to know them, the friendlier they become toward you," Bethesda says. 'Who knows? If a friendship develops, it may develop into a post-apocalyptic romance."

Finally, Fallout 76 is getting sexy. This is because Ally and her friends are basically just relaxing in camp while you run around. However, no matter how many friends you add, only one can live in the base at a time.

Fallout 76 Wastelanders is scheduled for April 7.
