"State of Decay 2" has been a Microsoft Store exclusive since its 2018 release, but will be coming to Steam on March 13. When it does, it will be the Juggernaut Edition, a significantly expanded version of the original (which will also upgrade the Microsoft Store version).

New features in the Juggernaut Edition include an additional open world map called Providence Ridge, an improved post-tutorial experience to introduce the mechanics, a new category of heavy melee weapons, various graphical improvements, and more music, several bug fixes. It also comes with the Independence Pack, Daybreak Pack, and Heartland DLC for free.

Those who have already purchased the DLC separately will receive an "exclusive in-game gift not available elsewhere" on launch day.
