General
Audiosurf, which turns 12 this month, received an update.

We didn't expect the original Audiosurf to still be getting patches in 2020, but we didn't expect this: the "ride a space roller coaster that rises and falls to the tune of a collection of mp3s" game released in 2008 has been updated with better wide screen support and updated for more corkscrew twists.

You will notice improved widescreen scaling on ultrawide monitors, and apparently scaling has been adjusted on 16:9 monitors as well. Narrow screens are also now an option if you want to hold your phone the wrong way to make it look like you are playing a game.

Previously the placement of the corkscrew twist was random, but now it is set to match the "big moment". As the patch notes explain, "The corkscrew twist was completely random, but it now emphasizes the big moments in the song. The probability of having a corkscrew in a ride is still 25% (except for songs that really want a corkscrew and therefore always have one)."
