Grab your snow chains and rock the diffs, SnowRunner is coming April 28, 2020, the sequel to MudRunner aka Spintires: a sequel to MudRunner, which, like its predecessor, changed its name several times, but last summer It was first revealed in its entirety last summer. The game is scheduled for release in April and comes with a Navistar 5000-MV in winter-spec digital camouflage as a pre-order bonus. There are also some nice new screenshots.

If these sentences are gibberish, that's okay; MudRunner was one of those games about beautiful mud physics and simulations of running through it that were extremely PC gaming cultural. It was quite fun. The sequel, SnowRunner, promises a big upgrade: bigger maps, more tracks (including licensed real-world brands), and snowy landscapes. It looks terrible in the real world, but in the game it's pretty amazing. You can also customize your truck with snow chains and higher exhaust pipes. The game can be played solo or in co-op with up to four other players.

SnowRunner is developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive. It retails for $40 and is available at the Epic Games Store. The official website is here.
