Need a cheap 1080p display" 27" IPS monitor on sale today for $85

An absolutely great gaming monitor checks a lot of boxes, and the more of them you have, the higher the price. But if you don't need amenities like G-Sync or HDR support and just want an affordable monitor (for the kids, as a secondary display, or to complete a budget build), AOC's price drop on the 27E1H makes it a strong candidate.

Staples has it for $109.99 from a list price of $179.99. It's a great deal as is, but if you apply coupon code 27019 at checkout, you get an additional $25 off the price, bringing it down to $84.99. The only tricky part is when the discount actually shows up. It won't show up right after you enter the coupon code, but it should show up once you get to the payment page.

This is a 27" monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080. It doesn't have too many fancy features, but it has an IPS screen instead of the less expensive TN panel.

Other specs include a 5ms response time, 60Hz refresh rate, 250 nits brightness, 20,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 178 degree viewing angles (horizontal and vertical), and a blue light reduction feature to prevent eye strain.

Connection options consist of HDMI 1.4 input, VGA input, and a 3.5mm headphone output jack. Nothing earth-shattering, but certainly adequate for a 27" display and ultra-affordable.

AOC backs this monitor with a 3-year warranty.
