Get chased by siren heads with this creepy "Fallout 4" mod!

I've heard of Slenderman (who hasn't?), but Sirenhead is new to me. The work of artist Trevor Henderson, Sirenhead is a gussied-up, 40-foot-tall cryptid creature whose head is a pole with two large speakers attached. The speakers run around the landscape with the siren head doing siren-head things, blaring air raid sirens, emergency broadcasts, static, eerie snippets of music, and garbled conversations.

After its appearance a few years ago, the Internet quickly became fascinated with the eerie creature, and Sirenhead entered the realm of urban legend, appearing in fan art and games. Most recently, it appeared in Fallout 4 and became part of the Whispering Hills mod, an overhaul of Silent Hill.

In this mod, the world of Fallout 4 is constantly shrouded in a thick silver fog; the ambient sounds of Fallout 4 are replaced with those of Silent Hill, and ghouls, monster nurses, and other creepy creatures from Silent Hill's horrorverse are waiting to drag you into it.

This is a creepy video by YouTuber CallMeArktag, in which Sirenhead first appears in the fog. Naturally, we hear Sirenhead's voice before we actually see him, which makes it even creepier.

Sirenhead is quite a terrifying figure and loves the various whistles and blaring alarms emanating from his speakers. I must say that he is a little more effective when he walks slowly through the fog than when he stops to swat a giant insect to death with his massive hands or when he runs around with his long arms flailing. Still, I already prefer him to Slender Man. I wonder who would win in a fight.
