Valorant runs on surprisingly low-end PCs

Riot has finally pulled back the curtain on Valorant, and details about the 5vs5 CS:GO meets Overwatch shooter formerly known as Project A have begun to flow. We've got info on the game's characters, more info on the netcode and anti-cheat system, a hands-on preview, and information on the PCs needed to play.

According to Riot, Valorant is optimized for "a wide variety of PC hardware," and while high-end rigs will obviously improve performance, the basic system requirements are surprisingly light.

My guess is that a detailed breakdown of hardware requirements will be released prior to the scheduled beta test. That date has not yet been set, but Riot expects Valorant to be released this summer, barring unforeseen circumstances.
