It's a great time to buy a gaming laptop. Just a few days ago, Asus discounted one of its thin ROG Zephyrus M laptops by $100 (the promotion is still valid, FYI).

The Asus Zephyrus M GU502GU gaming laptop is currently on sale at B&H Photo for $1,299, a $500 savings off the original MSRP. 6-core/12-thread Intel Core i7-9750H processor, 15.6 1080p 144Hz IPS screen, 16GB of RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD as the main drive, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card with 6GB of VRAM.

There are several gaming laptops in this price range with more powerful graphics cards, such as the Acer Predator Helios 300, but this Asus laptop is built thinner than most competitors. At only 0.74 inches (18.9 mm) thick, it is as portable as a 15-inch gaming laptop.

We did not have a chance to review this gaming laptop ourselves, but our friends at TechRadar gave it 4/5 stars. PCMag also praised the Zephyrus M's design, but its review was for a slightly different model with an RTX 2060 graphics card. RTX 2060 graphics card.
