Call of Duty streamer Carl Riemer got into trouble last night when he accidentally fired his handgun during a live stream. No one was injured in the incident, but Riemer's Twitch account was suspended and he was removed from the esports org Soar Gaming roster.

Riemer's troubles began when he picked up a gun and challenged the stranger to "tell me you don't have any money" and simultaneously slammed the slide twice. Then, apparently thinking the gun was unloaded, he pulled the trigger and committed the infernal murder from a can of G-Fuel.

In an apology video posted on YouTube, Riemer said he was "obviously drunk" while streaming, but regardless of his mental state, the gun was not a toy and should He admitted that he should not have handled it. He also said that Soar's letting him go was an appropriate action and seemed to appreciate how lucky he was that no actual harm was done: "It was a stupid mistake, but a mistake that could have cost someone their life," he said in the video.

Later in the video, Riemer also shares a slightly introspective inner monologue. You don't have to be that stupid to entertain people, Carl. You know what I mean. I could just hold a finger gun. Why do I have to get my Glock out in the stream? You can hold the gun, but you can't shoot it. It's funny, but it's not funny. Funny, but no.
