Destiny 2 studio Bungie allows all employees to work from home due to the spread of COVID-19 In an update released today, Bungie cited "particularly dense" infections in the Seattle metropolitan area, where Bungie is based. and as of this morning, 51 people have been confirmed infected in Seattle and King County, with 10 deaths.

Today was their first day and they needed to "quickly build" a new remote work infrastructure. Transitioning all employees at such a rapid pace is quite a feat, but there may be some delays in updating content.

"Our goal is to continue to build the ever-evolving world of Destiny while keeping the behind-the-scenes efforts to keep everything running smoothly invisible to our fans. This change may affect the timing of patches in the short term, but we will keep players informed of the schedule whenever possible.

"Most recently, we plan to launch Season of the Worthy on March 10 and Trials of Osiris on March 13.

The studio also announced a weekly update for Destiny 2 today, further detailing Season of the Worthy's power gains.

On the topic of artifact power in Trials of Osiris, the artifact power bonus will not be disabled for the first weekend starting March 13, as previously reported. Artifact Power will be disabled the following weekend, starting March 17.
