We appreciate the Logitech G502 Hero. Like the Lightspeed Wireless, which was voted the best gaming mouse, the scroll wheel on the Hero model is very nice, and with the G502 Hero you get both, and it's only $27.99 right now.

Now is a good time to buy a Logitech mouse. The Lightspeed Wireless we mentioned last week is still on sale, although it has gone up in price by about $2, and the more affordable G502 Hero SE is also available. It wasn't that expensive to begin with, usually selling for around $38, but this price makes it even easier to recommend.

Wes reviewed the non-SE model in late 2018 and raved about its flawless performance, smooth glide, and best scroll wheel; the SE version is the same mouse, just with a different color scheme.

In short, it has a 16K DPI sensor, adjustable weights, RGB lighting, rubber side grips, and 11 programmable buttons. Simply put, this is one of the best mice you can buy for under $30 (and it punches above this price class).
