The first story DLC for Zombie Army 4: Dead War was released today. This special chapter, available now if you have the Season Pass or have purchased the Deluxe Edition, is called "Terror Labs."

Hell Cult, Terror Lab ...... It's the zombie army I know." You and your fellow Dead Hunters must infiltrate a strange laboratory, tear through zombified researchers, and solve the mystery of why the dead keep coming back to life!" That "riddle solving" would be shooting Nazi zombies.

This first episode will also feature a new playable character named "American Sea Captain" (named Josiah), a "classic Boris costume," and a new weapons bundle of PPSH submachine guns and M1 semi-auto carbines.

A DLC roadmap for the game's first season was also announced: a new story episode called "Blood Count" in April, a new playable character called Renegade Officer, a new "bloody weapon skin" (already so much It's honestly ludicrous in a game that's already so bloody) will be added. Then another mission in May, a new horde map in the summer (winter in Australia), a new difficulty level, and a new "Elite" mode (which will probably make the game harder).
