The infinite resurrection exploit in Call of Duty: Warzone has been fixed.

A patch was applied to an exploit that allowed less careful players to revive teammates indefinitely outside of the battle royale gas ring in "Call of Duty Warzone".

The bug was simple: after being revived by a teammate, there was enough time to revive him in return. They could sit in the gas that served as the game's perimeter and continue to revive each other forever, guaranteeing victory. As noted by Reddit user MightyKonsti, who discovered the exploit, it was most effective when using the Tune Up perk, which increases resurrection speed by 25%, but was possible without it.

Infinity Ward was quick to respond, releasing a patch the same day that removed the exploit; a tweet published by Infinity Ward does not elaborate on exactly how the fix works, but confirms that living in the gas is currently impossible It has been confirmed that it should not be possible.

Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play standalone battle royale mode for the recently released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It differs slightly from other games in the genre in several ways, the biggest being that it literally pits players against each other for the opportunity to respawn by dueling one-on-one in the camps.
