Oculus Quest 128GB VR headset restocked for $499

Ultimately, the Oculus Quest is the best VR headset for most people, with a healthy balance of features for the price. It has also been very difficult to obtain over the past few weeks, which is a source of anxiety for those who don't have a headset who want to play Half-Life: Alyx later this month. 128GB model is available now and will ship on March 16.

While the 64GB model is $399, the 128GB model is more expensive at $499. This is unfortunate. But perhaps this is a sign that Oculus will restock the 64GB model soon as well.

Regardless of storage options, Quest is a great entry into VR; based on Oculus Go's wireless concept, Quest offers dual displays with 2880x1660 resolution, 72Hz refresh rate, 6 degrees of freedom (6DoF) tracking, better position tracking (versus 3DoF), dual hand controls, and other more powerful specifications to raise the bar.

Quest has received several significant upgrades since its launch. Namely, hand tracking is now possible, an optional link cable (currently out of stock, but third-party cables will work!) ) to connect Quest to a PC and play Rift games.

If you are interested in purchasing the Quest headset and are willing to pay extra for the 128GB model, visit Oculus' product page to get it while you can.
