Steam hits 20 million concurrent users as coronavirus keeps people at home
[One of the blows to those forced to telecommute and socially isolate themselves amid the spread of the coronavirus is that more people than ever are using Valve's digital gaming platform. 20 million concurrent users were recorded by SteamDB, 20, to be exact. 313,451, of which 6.2 million are in-game.

A month ago, when Steam hit 19 million concurrent users, we were all very impressed in light of that number. And as for the 6.2 million in-game, on New Year's Day 2018, when PUBG was a shiny new product, there were almost a million more players in the game. At the moment, CS:GO is still at the top of the Steam charts, and away from Steam, Call of Duty: Warzone is pulling in big numbers with 15 million players in its first week.

With many schools closing around the world, it will certainly be interesting to see how Fortnite's numbers fare.

Various tournaments and community events that have been canceled due to the coronavirus have been compiled.
