The coronavirus outbreak continues to chip away at the Dota Pro Circuit schedule, and Valve has canceled Dota 2's fourth minor and major tournaments of the season due to health concerns. This follows last week's postponement of ESL One Los Angeles.

The fourth qualifier, OGA Dota PIT Minor 2020, and Epicenter Major were all scheduled to take place in the coming months, but esports tournaments appear to be particularly risky as many governments begin to recommend against attending large gatherings. The tournament was to be held in Split, where no COVID-19 cases have been documented, and in Moscow, where several cases have been reported.

The final set of tournaments will begin with the fifth qualifier on May 17, with two more tournaments scheduled for June. Valve may have to cancel these tournaments as well, as there is no consensus on when the Kolnavirus will converge.

In a follow-up tweet, Valve said it "will continue to follow the situation and determine how to approach the final majors and minors of the season as the weeks progress."
