Solo has been added to Call of Duty: Warzone, the free-to-play Modern Warfare battle royale spin-off, and a new way to play the game was introduced today.

Mechanically, not much has changed. Players land on the map with a pistol and a few bullets, from where they can get information, rifle through weapons, make contracts, and kill each other at all costs. Circles will approach as usual, and if they are knocked out, they will be sent to a camp to fight for a chance to be redeployed.

The strategy, on the other hand, is quite different. Activision makes several points on this point in a new blog post: ["Because you can explore the map and play with guns, equipment, and perks.

Activision says, "Because you rely solely on your senses and HUD, solo matches can be a testing ground, where you learn a lot for future drops."
