EVGA is offering up to $290 off recertified GeForce RTX 2080 Ti cards

We're still waiting for Nvidia to announce its next-generation Ampere GPU, but if you want to go all out with a top-end graphics card right now, the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is your best option. On a related note, EVGA is currently offering up to $290 off B-stock models.

First of all, what is B Stock? It is basically a recertified part.

"B-stock products are units that have minor scratches, small dents, or noticeable signs of use. b-stock products are factory recertified to meet the performance and reliability of a new product of the same model. b-stock products do not come with optional accessories, but rather to use the product B-stock products do not come with optional accessories, only the accessories needed to use the product," Nvidia explains.

Normally, I shy away from refurbished products, but I make an exception here for two reasons: first, the best graphics cards for gaming are available at the lowest prices. And second, EVGA, not a third party, is doing the re-certification. Also, everything sold comes with a one-year warranty.

Several models are currently reduced in price. Shown at the top is the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Black Edition Gaming, which is focused on stock clocks. At the extreme end of the spectrum, EVGA is selling a B stock version of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC Hybrid Gaming, which combines an all-in-one liquid cooler with a traditional air-cooled shroud. This product sells for $1,009, $290 below list price.

You can see all available models on EVGA's b-stock page.
